Kids Zip Up Jacket in Navy and Red

Navy is the colour a child cannot ruin. It takes hall dust, bag rub, a dropped
sandwich and a term of daily wear without ever looking tired, which is why it
outlasts every brighter jacket in the wardrobe.

This kids zip up jacket is navy with red shoulder panels, ages 9 to 13. Full
zip, two zipped side pockets, ribbed cuffs and hem.

Why this one gets worn

The red is a fabric panel following the raglan seam over the shoulder, not a
printed stripe. It will not crack, peel or fade away from the body colour on
its own, which is what separates a jacket that survives two seasons from one
that starts looking cheap after ten washes.

The raglan sleeve runs in a single line from the collar to the underarm rather
than joining at the shoulder. A child puts a jacket on and takes it off
constantly, and that construction is what makes it quick rather than a
struggle.

Both pockets zip. Ribbed cuffs and hem hold their shape after months of being
pushed up the forearm and pulled back down.

The fabric is a smooth technical knit, matte rather than shiny, warm enough
for an indoor hall without bulking up over a training shirt.

Size chart is attached

Length is taken from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Chest is
across the flat garment from underarm to underarm, so double it for the full
measurement round the body. All figures approximate.

Age bands guide, they do not decide. Measure a jacket your child already

you would receive. If your child sits between bands, take the larger.

Age 7 to 9 is not available in this colourway.

Care

Cold machine wash, gentle cycle, zip closed. No bleach. No fabric softener. Do
not tumble dry. Hang to dry so the ribbing holds its shape. Wash the navy
separately for the first two washes.
