The size this actually is

Measured flat, this shirt is 23 inches armpit to armpit, which is a 46 inch chest once doubled, with 30 inches of body length from the shoulder to the hem. That is generous for an XL. If you normally buy XXL in Pakistani retail and find the sleeves still tight, this is cut for you. If you take a true XL and prefer a close fit, this will sit relaxed rather than fitted.

If you usually shop “plus size polo shirts” because standard cuts run tight across the shoulders, measure a polo you already own, flat, armpit to armpit, and compare it to 23 inches. That is the only reliable way to buy online.

The colour is in the fabric, not on it

The yellow panels are sublimated. The dye is bonded into the polyester itself, so there is no raised layer, no hand feel where the yellow meets the blue, and nothing to crack, peel or lift at the edges. Run your hand across the shoulder seam and the surface does not change. Printed panels on a polo of this type will craze within a season of washing. This will not, because there is no print sitting on the surface to craze.

Construction

Cut like the rest of our “sportswear polo shirts”, in 100% polyester, smooth technical knit. Self-fabric collar with a two-button placket and tonal buttons. Set-in sleeves, plain royal blue from the panel down. Straight hem. Chest branding applied in yellow at the left chest.

Fabric and care

100% polyester. Wash with like colours. Do not use fabric softener. Softener coats polyester fibres and dulls the finish over time, which is why the care label rules it out.

Made in Pakistan.
