Chest is measured flat, one inch below the armhole, across the widest point, so double it for the full circumference. Length runs from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. Sleeve runs from the shoulder seam to the sleeve opening. Allow half an inch either way, because every piece is measured by hand.

Take your usual size. This football graphic t-shirt is cut oversized on the pattern, so the width is already there and a size up only buys length.

Cotton, weight and colour

This football graphic t-shirt is 100% cotton single jersey at 200 GSM. That weight does two jobs at once. It gives the shoulder enough body to keep its dropped line instead of collapsing, and it keeps the shirt wearable from March through October, which a 260 gram tee does not manage here. The navy is deep rather than bright, which is why the gold in the print reads like metal instead of yellow.

Ribbed crew neck, short sleeve, straight hem, side seamed so the body does not rotate after washing. The print is laid flat into the fabric with no raised edge, so the fine ray lines around the boot stay clean rather than breaking up with wear.
