Plus size training jacket measurements

Most Pakistani sportswear stops at XL and calls it large. These are cut properly for a bigger frame. Every figure below was taken with a tape off the actual jackets in stock. Chest is measured flat across the jacket from armpit to armpit with the zip closed, then doubled to give the full circumference around the body. Length runs from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. Compare these against a jacket you already own and wear, laid flat the same way, rather than against your shirt collar size.

The 3XL and the 4XL measure the same on this style. The labels differ but the garments do not, so order whichever is in the colour you want.

Where it works

A zip-front warm-up layer earns its place across most of the winter. It suits table tennis, badminton, padel and squash, where you want to stay warm between games and take the layer off without pulling it over your head. It works for gym sessions, cricket practice in the cold months, and morning walks. The raglan shoulder gives more reach than a set-in sleeve, which matters when you are warming up rather than standing still. It is equally wearable as an ordinary winter jacket over a shirt.

Fabric and construction

The face of the fabric is a smooth knitted technical cloth with a slight sheen, not a cotton fleece, so it does not soak and hang heavy the way a cotton sweatshirt does. Both side pockets close with a zip, which is the detail that decides whether a jacket is actually useful at a club. The contrast shoulder panel is cut and stitched in as a separate piece rather than printed on, so it cannot crack or lift with wear. Wash cold and inside out, line dry in shade, and keep the iron off the printed logos.
