Most players buy a shirt on fit and colour. Then they turn up to their first
graded tournament and get told the shirt is not permitted, because nobody
mentioned that shirt colour is regulated in table tennis and white is the
colour that causes the problem.

This is a solid red Tibhar crew neck, premium export quality, made in Pakistan
from imported technical fabric. Two pieces, one M and one XL.

The colour question, answered properly

Table tennis is played with a white or an orange ball, and the governing
principle across the sport is that a player’s shirt must not make the ball
hard to see. That is why a plain white shirt causes trouble at the table and
why a strong solid colour does not. Red sits clear of both ball colours, which
is why you see so much of it in competitive play.

Regulations differ by governing body, by level and by individual tournament,
so check the rules for the specific event you are entering rather than taking
this as settled. But if you want one shirt that will not raise a question at
a club night or a school fixture, a solid red is a safer buy than a white one.

Outside the hall, red is also the colour that photographs. If you are filming
sessions for coaching review, or shooting content for an academy page, this is
the shirt that reads at distance in a wide frame, and the silver chest device
carries more contrast on red than it does on a pale base.

What makes it export quality

Export quality is used loosely in this market, so here are the specific things
you can check when the parcel opens.

The fabric is imported to the export buyer’s specification, not sourced
locally. It is a lightweight technical knit that carries moisture off the skin
rather than absorbing it, finished matte so it does not shine under the flat
white lighting most halls use.

The shoulder is a raglan seam running from the collar to the underarm, not a
plain set-in sleeve. That construction costs more to sew and it is the reason
the shirt does not bind across the shoulder when you open up on a forehand
loop. Curved side panel seams run from underarm to hem, shaping the body
without adding weight. The hem and sleeve openings are finished with a flat
coverstitch rather than a single needle hem, so they lie flat and do not curl
after a few washes. The neck label is woven, not printed on.

The cut is athletic, close through the body without restricting the stroke.
Sizing follows the European scale, which runs smaller than the equivalent
local size. If you normally take a Large in a Pakistani brand, the XL here is
likely the closer match.

If you are between sizes, take the larger. A technical fabric with limited
stretch is unforgiving when it is tight, and you feel it in the shoulder
within ten minutes of play.

Washing it so it lasts

Cold wash, gentle cycle, turned inside out. No bleach. No fabric softener,
which coats technical fibres and stops them doing the one thing you bought
them for. Keep the iron away from the print. No tumble dryer. Hang in shade
and it is dry in a couple of hours, which is the point of the fabric.

Red bleeds for the first two or three washes, so keep it away from anything
pale.

Two pieces, and then it is gone

Tibhar  shirt is made in Pakistan from imported fabric, which is why you are
not paying import duty and freight on top of the price. Quantities reaching
