Measurements, taken off the garment

Every figure here is measured flat off a finished piece. None of it is copied from a supplier chart.

Chest is measured flat, one inch below the armhole, across the widest point. Double it for the full circumference. Length runs from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem. Sleeve runs from the shoulder seam to the sleeve opening. Allow half an inch either way, because these are measured by hand.

The block on this oversized table tennis shirt is drawn wide already, so take your usual size. Sizing up gives you a longer, heavier shirt, not a better fit.

Fabric and construction

Every oversized table tennis shirt in this run is 100% cotton single jersey at 200 GSM. That weight is the whole decision. Below 180 a tee goes thin and starts clinging by mid afternoon. Above 240 it stops being wearable in a Rawalpindi summer. Two hundred sits between the two: enough body to hold the dropped shoulder off the skin, light enough for March through October.

Ribbed crew neck, short sleeve, straight hem, side seamed so the body does not twist on the wash. The chest graphic is printed flat into the surface rather than applied as a patch, so there is nothing raised to catch on a bat handle or a kit bag strap.
